Chapter 3
The following Saturday, Keith picked me up around noon. I threw my gear in the back of his truck, hopped in and we drove out to Ernie’s parents place on Muriel Lake. I was so excited I could barely sit still.
We talked music and listened to “Theater Of Pain” all the way to the south side of town.

Ten minutes later we pulled in to Ern’s driveway.
He opened up the garage door, tossed his drums in the truck and we headed back to town.
We had the windows rolled down and the tunes turned up.
